Answers: well if you are using your computer then you need a video card that has that has a tv tuner all in wonder ATI is pretty good all around but basically as a stand alone tv it cannot be used because you need either a vcr(because most have a tv tuner)or a video card with tv tuner. your comptuer is the best bet this would probably help if you go that route

You don't need to buy a video card with a tv tuner- you can save some money and buy a standalone tv tuner (or HDTV tuner) that plug into an empty PCI slot. However, be aware that the ATI tv tuners don't work well with nvidia based video cards.
