When I record freeview (built in) with my dvd recorder it only works when the tv is on? Can anyone help, pls!?
Question: TV - Wharfdale 26 lcd with built in freeview
DVD recorder - pioneer 220
Answers: unless you get your freeview from a source other than your television, your television will have to be on for you to record the freeview. The TV receives it and the TV outputs it to the DVD recorder, so the TV has to be on.
