Sanyo TV, green lines, black spot until shut down,Fixable?
Question: I have a Sanyo TV. After about 5 mins of being on it gets green lines across the screen, then it goes to having a black spot with gree around it. Can and how would I fix this?
Answers: green lines huh? Sounds like an arc in the green gun in the neck of the CRT. If this is the case you are most likely better off buying a new TV since a new picture tube would cost you nearly as much.
If its still under warranty get it fixed if not buy a new tv. it will cost more to get that fixed than buying a new tv.
